Development of seat system and components
•    Lead seat system and components development for global and land specific features, starting from first concepts to series production.
•    Lead various development activities in different phases as architekture, specification definition, digital mock-up and validation, simulation, data freeze & release, industriliation, till delivery confirmation.

Steering localization projects
•    Manage the localized parts from design-frozen to part release with handover to series production, including managing technical changes from global RD.
•    Evaluate and verify components function and maturity via local testing matrix, ensure parts readiness.
•    Monitor project timeline, sourcing, tooling & facility readiness.
•    Assist pilot run, tryout and series production at the production plant.
Testing
•    Fulfil requirements of homologation processes and make sure parts can be introduced to Chinese market successfully. Keep tracking of authority (new) requirements.
•    Create component test specification, test matrix,  monitor testing processes to ensure the functionality of the product.
•    Evaluate and verify testing results, analyse issues, solve the non-confirmities and carry out optimization/concept changes.

Project management
•    Work together with cross-functional departments like product planning, purchasing, quality and logistics, coordinate activities to make sure project timeline realized.

Engineering Change Management & Documentation
•    Ensure all engineering changes are accurately captured, verified and implmented into production line ontime.
•    Maintain, verify and analyse all incoming changes (KEM).
•    Maintain the BoM in general.
Designing
•    Pre-study and analyse concepts, do benchmarking on the markets and create future concepts to meet trends.
•    Lead and promte innovation projects & create phototypes in cooperation with institutes/universities.

Education:
-    Bachelor degree or above in automotive engineering relevant majors (e.g. automotive, mechanical); experience abroad is a plus.
Experience:
-    working experience in OEMs & suppliers (or comparable experience);
-    Experience in automotive component development or engineering (at international OEMs or Suppliers); oversea working is a plus.
Specific Knowledge:
-    Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language is benefical.
-    Good knowledge of automotive development processes: release process, engineering lifecycle, KEM, MDS, digital product development, model confirmation rounds, Benchmarking, vehicle function, overall vehicle knowledge, project management, quality management, homologation, vehicle/components testing, FuVo-testing is an advantage/necessary;
-    Knowledge about SWAN, Smaragd, SmaDia2, ACM, ZEUS, Dialog appreciated/necessary;
-    Excellent skills of cross-function project management, good tracking of program timing, process, task execution;
-    Self-responsible working attitude and initiative, strong planning and organizational skills;
-    Intercultural competence and effective communication skills with various levels and departments;
-    Good teamwork skills; openness to bring people (also external) and ideas together;
-    Flexibility to travel China domestic and oversea, good driving skill is a plus;
