Key tasks
 R&D:
In the first phase he or she supports our engineers in the activities along the entire chain from specification to release of cab interior parts ( plastic, rubber, metal parts, etc.), and then works independently on a certain scope of exterior parts.
Internal
-Specification phase: derive for relevant parts from overall project specifications
-Design phase: initiate and reach agreement among all involved departments on new components or necessary adjustments of existing components. Carry out / coordinate the necessary design- and development-activities considering function, durability, safety, styling, cost, quality, assembly, homologation and legal requirements of local applications and Daimler Truck network requirements globally.
-Documentation phase: coordinate and track documentation activities according to project milestones and master plan.
-Supplier sourcing phase: coordinate sourcing activities among all involved stakeholders according to project milestones and targets, focusing on R&D scope.
-Tooling and sampling phase: track progress according to project milestones and master plan.
-Validation phase: create and reach agreement among all involved departments on validation plans according to specified boundary conditions and maturity level. Coordinate / track tests and assess calculation / testing results, issue root-cause analysis and elaborate / implement counter measures.
-Release phase: coordinate and track release according to project milestones and master plan.
-Start of Production: On-site technical support in workshop.

-Create timelines, documentation and presentations
Quality Control

Through the project, the onsite work force should follow certain criteria to make sure a high quality service standard


Requirement：


Bachelor degree or above major in Material Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive or equivalent engineering subject.
 Over 3 years of experience in the development of cab interior parts including interior trim, dashboard, floor covering, seats, etc.
 Good understanding of plastic and rubber raw materials: properties and application.
 Good understanding of main process technologies, such as injection molding, rubber forming, foam, etc.
 Stable and willing to learn new things.
 Good knowledge and skills in CAx/DMU systems (e.g. NX, Catia, Teamcenter); Solid knowledge in 2D and 3D documentation including geometrical tolerance requirements
 Pro-active working attitude and commitment & accountability.
 Good communication skill.  Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English to explain complex topics in simple terms.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
