About the role:
Our Verification & Technical Center (VTC) team is belong to DNV Energy Systems Offshore Infrastructure and Technology section, mainly responsible for the design verification and technical advisory service to facing local offshore oil and gas industry. By joining the VTC team, you will be working as E&I engineer to perform following tasks:
1. Performing design verification for general safety and E&I relevant design based on China offshore safety regulation, DNV codes and other international standards.
2. Offering technical support and advisory to key client on offshore safety design and E&I system design.
3. Managing the offshore relevant project and maintain good relationship with key clients.
4. Involving into the relevant site visit for verifying the offshore production systems as well as verify the special offshore equipment.
5. Involving into offshore visit with team to verify the in-service condition of the offshore production system.
6. Perform business development with existing and new Customers.
7. Support new energy sector to delivery relevant verification service locally.
8. This position will ideally be based to our Shanghai office.

We are looking for a colleague who has:
• Engineering degree (Master or equal) preferably within electrical or instrument major.
• With minimum of 5 years of experience on shipbuilding and offshore industry (design company background).
• Knowledge extending to offshore safety (generally arrangement of offshore production system, firefighting system and process control system).
• Ability to handle several projects in parallel.
• Able to perform site visit tasks on offshore, and willingness to perform business trips to support our clients as well as our worldwide organization.
• Self-motivated and result-oriented.
