Morningstar's Greater China Enterprise Products group is responsible for helping our clients build their businesses and provide better outcomes to empower investors through our comprehensive suite of Data, Research, and Enterprise Solutions.
The Role: Morningstar's Greater China Enterprise Products group seeks a Product Management and Operation Director to lead the overall planning, execution, and success of the Morningstar Enterprise products, such as Morningstar Data, Morningstar Direct, and Morningstar Research solutions, in the region. This role is based in the Shenzhen office and reports to the regional Morningstar Enterprise Product group business leader.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Morningstar Enterprise products vision, strategy, and delivery.
Work collaboratively with the global product teams and regional leaders to develop, define, and prioritize our product strategy and solutions in Greater China.
Work closely with sales and customer success teams to achieve high sales and revenue goals.
Review and approve complex deals for strategic and brand fit
Define and price off-grid solutions or product bundles
Manage a team of software engineers to configure and localize Morningstar's global products for the local market needs and bring new product ideas and solutions to support and enhance client experiences in the region.
Act as a subject matter expert of the Morningstar Enterprise products suite.
The right candidate will also oversee the software engineering and technology resources within the Greater China Enterprise group.
Requirements:
Strong mindset of investor first and ability to put this into practice.
13+ years of progressive and relevant experience in asset and wealth management and the fintech industry.
Thinking and approaching problems like an entrepreneur.
User and client-centric mindset.
Highly sensitive to industry/market trends yet disciplined in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbally and in writing, in both Chinese and English.
Possessing both qualities in strategic mindset and alert to deviating details.
Experience and motivation for excellence in pricing, negotiation, marketing, and sales enablement.
Ability to develop strong internal and external partnerships and work effectively across different business and functional areas.
Deep and broad knowledge of Morningstar's Enterprise group products and their positioning in core client segments in Greater China.
Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must. Cantonese is a plus.
