The Sr. manager of Windchill excellence oversees BISELL Engineering Data Systems and process. This role requires an individual with experts’ knowledge on managing data systems such as Teamcenter, Windchill, or PLM. The ideal candidate should also bring expertise in component management, configuration management, change management, process optimization, and possess experience in SAP. This role also requires effective leadership and initiatives.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Data Systems Management:
o Directly engage in the implementation and maintenance of engineering data systems, emphasizing component management and configuration management.
o Monitor and enhance system performance, data qualities, provide practical troubleshoot support to team where necessary. Build proper data links to ensure data change synchronization and improve efficiency/convenience of searching.

• Change Management:
o Develop and implement change management processes, ensuring data change to be implemented properly and timely and changes are distributed properly and timely according to system requirements.
o Actively participate in change initiatives, troubleshooting and providing hands-on solutions where necessary.

• Process Optimization:
o Utilize hands-on expertise to identify and implement process improvements within engineering data management, including SAP integration.
o Lead optimization projects hands-on, working closely with the team to ensure technical efficiency.

• Component and Configuration Management:
o Bring hands-on experience in component management, ensuring efficient tracking and organization of engineering components.
o Implement and maintain robust configuration management processes to support engineering workflows.

• SAP Integration:
o Leverage hands-on experience with SAP to seamlessly integrate and optimize engineering data systems.
o Ensure effective communication between SAP and other data systems for streamlined processes.

• Team Leadership:
o Provide technical leadership to the cross-functional team, emphasizing a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
o Mentor team members on best practices and ensure continuous skill development.

• Collaboration and Communication:
o Collaborate hands-on with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and implement solutions effectively.
o Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Work with Director of Eng. and Technical Services to assign resources and enhance the metrics and measure of the performance of the team.
o Improve the team operation efficiency and enhance the related process and systems on the designated role and responsibility of the team.
o Work with Director of Engineering to define processes and approach to enable smooth transition.

• Provide outside training as needed for engineers or cross function team on system documents and process.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: (i.e. degree, years of experience, etc.)
• Degree minimum:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience level:
o Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in a senior management role related to engineering data systems.
o Extensive hands-on experience in managing engineering data systems, with expertise in Teamcenter, Windchill, or PLM.
o Strong background in engineering, manufacturing, or logistics planning.
o In-depth knowledge of change management principles and hands-on experience in their practical application.
o Proven ability to lead hands-on process optimization projects.
o Track record of successfully implementing component management, configuration management, and SAP integration.
o Demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring and supervision of direct reports.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: (i.e. MBA, certifications, etc.)
• Experience of driving project with cross-function teams. PMP certification preferred.
• ISO 9001 system participation.


SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
• PTC PLM/PDM Training
• Open mind with excellent communication skills
• Fluent English speaking
