We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Academia and Government Expansion Team in Beijing/Shanghai. This is an opportunity to work on world class research solution. We have a great skill set in market leadership, professional team and learning culture, as well as we would love to speak with you if you have skills in complex B2B direct and solution selling experiences in Academic/Publisher industry (Foreign or local vendors), strong communication & presentation skills and desire and morale for winning.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
• At least 5 years of experience in personal target based B2B direct sales in Academic/Publisher industry as a strong hunter role
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong capability to take complex projects with comprehensive shareholders (both external and internal)
• Bachelor's degree in STM
• Ability to prioritize among multiple urgent tasks
• Fluent in mandarin and English
It would be great if you also had . . .
• Deep understanding to information industry and research industry
• Academia segmentation experiences
• Master's degree preferred

What will you be doing in this role?
• Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers and prospects
• Explore the new logos with strong sales penetration skills together with internal shareholders
• Upselling new research solutions in existing assigned academic accounts
• Improve customers’ delight with continuous engagement and service
• Liaise between the customer and internal different function teams
About the Team
• This team in focusing on world leading research solution in Expansion marketing in China
• Primary goal is focusing on expanding our marketing share and revenue size every year in academic Expansion accounts.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time job, we provide hybrid working model which needs employees to visit Clarivate Office or customer 2-3 days per week.
