Automotive Body Design Engineer
1. Knowledge of automotive composite materials or systems
Familiar with vehicle structure and performance
Knowledge of battery pack housing structure and performance
2. Design capability
Good 3D design ability;
Good 2D design ability;
Good DMU analysis ability;
Good section design capacity
Good knowledge of stamping, welding, painting, assembly, injection molding, aluminum manufacturing process
Good knowledge of geometry and tolerance rules;
Good knowledge of ENCAP and CNCAP;
Good material knowledge;
Good interface management ability;
Good time/cost/quality management ability;
Knowledge of geometry and tolerance rules
Good 3DCOM official capability
Final BOM, including weight, material, thickness and direction, level and other details;
Good understanding of product trial and prototype follow-up;
