SIPS is currently looking for a Compliance Officer to cope with the growing business. This is a good opportunity for candidates to have career advancement in the legal sector.
Reporting to Partners, this role will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage and update client database;
- Conduct KYC, AML due diligence, conflicts of interest check on clients and all parties involved;
- Monitoring global regulatory development for internal use;
- Work closely with Fee Earners and Secretaries on new files and matters opening according to the required formats;
- Generating new clients and matters reports regularly as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Proven track record of at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a professional firm;
- Sound ethical and professional judgement and strong business sense;
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese, Mandarin is a must;
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word-processing
- Eager to learn new things;
- Well organized, self-motivated, able to work independently and multi-tasking;
- A team player
