Position: Merchandiser

Job Summary:

The main job is to be responsible for the development of new products and new suppliers, and to ensure the smooth production and delivery of the first batch of orders for new products and new suppliers. Therefore, there will also be some order management work to be carried out.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

1. Development of new products and new suppliers: Ensure accurate and timely completion of new projects. Determine product target prices and negotiate prices with suppliers. Find and screen qualified suppliers.
2. Order management: Monitor factory production processes, manage the order process from start to finish. Collaborate across departments (QA/QC/Logistics/Financial Team) to ensure timely delivery of orders.
3. Accurately understand product design drawings and concepts, and effectively communicate with suppliers to ensure that new product development progresses in the correct direction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Cost analysis and price negotiation. Develop and manage production plans and follow up.
2. Sensitivity to numbers, able to express and manage critical work through spreadsheets.
3. Strong logical thinking ability and systematic expression skills.
4. Strong English reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities, which are helpful for daily work communication in English.
5. Honest, upright, confident, willing to take responsibility. Able to work under pressure.
6. Candidates with a background working in factory are preferred, who understand the ways in which various departments within the factory collaborate and are familiar with production line operation.
7. Curious and eager to learn about industry technology, manufacturing equipment, product development, etc. Able to quickly learn and master new product knowledge and apply it to work.
8. Understands how to prioritize and allocate work tasks and time.
9. Bachelor's degree, majoring in science or engineering.
10. Able to travel frequently nationwide.
11. Minimum 4-5 years work experience, experiences in the houseware, furniture, or textile industries is preferred.

Working Hour:

9am~12am; 13:00pm~18pm; 5 days a week
