Main Responsibilities:

• Professional management of multidisciplinary and multi-department projects with multicultural team members. Project related liaison between AVL China, AVL affiliates, suppliers and client project teams

• Manage project resources, project team & customer communication to achieve project technical targets, timescales, budgets, quality targets and customer satisfaction

• Support project planning as early involved PM to establish a project outline including technical approach, work packages, time schedule, costs, deadlines and resources

• Regular internal and external project conclusion and reporting of technical and commercial project status and deliverables

• Risk assessment and risk mitigation management for the project

• Task force lead to manage deviation and implement professional trouble shooting process and methodology

• Support of the sales process during acquisition and customer relation development

• Training of client engineers

• Ensure following of the relevant processes including AVL Project Process and continuous improvement of these processes

• Active driver for internal communication and interfacing with other departments, e.g. test factory, development, design and sales

Qualification:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree, Engine Engineering degree is preferred

• Preferably 8 years similar work experience also including multinational companies

• Profound knowhow and work experience in powertrain and/or vehicle engineering technology, development & validation methodology and quality processes. Experience in NEV powertrain development management preferred

• Experience of management of multi-disciplinary multi-department and projects with multicultural team members are preferred

• Experienced in professional project status assessment and capable to draw and implement project management conclusions

• High Intercultural communication, team building, and self-motivation skills

• Good own time and work load management

• Experience in financial project controlling

• Good sense in sales & marketing and customer relationship development

• Good command of computer skills and MS Office

• High communication skill in English and Chinese

• Outgoing with work experience abroad is highly favored
