Be responsible for a purchasing area. Ensure, within the approved budget and programmes, the choice of Suppliers capable of supplying the assigned commodities at the lowest cost, by ensuring the best service level. Propose purchasing strategies relevant to the types of commodities assigned.
In particular:
• ensure the selection of Suppliers of all assigned materials to meet the needs of the business units concerned;
• implement constant monitoring on the various markets, while making use of the Global Sourcing Sector, in order to allow the determination of the supply policy for the products assigned;
• contribute to the definition of the budget for the assigned purchasing area and is responsible for its implementation once approved;
• conduct negotiations with Suppliers, define the reference contract, particularly in the long-term to ensure the acquisition of materials on the most economic conditions and in compliance with quality standards, ensuring the trade-off with the needs of individual facilities.
Qualifications:
• 3 years working experience with automotive field
• 5 years supplier management experience
• Bachelor degree or above with engineering background
• Fluent English skills both oral and writing
