Job duties:
Evaluate different technologies, design proposals, and new technologies to develop Precision Robotics.
The position has design responsibility to ensure that product programs achieve all design objectives required to meet customer and business needs, including feature and functionality, quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacture-ability, regulatory, compliance, and cost.
Design, develop, layout PCB, have prototype and test electronic circuits, ensuring that the design meets required functionality, cost, quality, safety, legislative, reliability, and aesthetic requirements.
Responsible for driving surgical robots in electrical control system design, including electrical system hardware design, and electrical wiring schematic diagram.
Achieve product system and equipment control functions by programming software.
Design, develop and test looms for use in Company products, ensuring that the design meets the required functionality, cost, quality, safety, legislative, and reliability requirements.
Complete verification validation processes and write reports on the designed electronics and the systems they integrate.
Provide EMC solutions for product development and liaise with the EMC test house to ensure the product is robust for the market.
 Liaise with suppliers, in partnership with the Purchasing/procurement team, on technical issues faced by the supplier and to source new components, ensuring an acceptable supply chain can be maintained in production.
Constantly reviewing with the Line Manager regarding procedures and processes to improve the quality of Company products during the design & and development stages.
 Execution of project activities in accordance with QMS requirements.
 Mentor junior R&D staff and provide technical help and support.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or above.
At least 5 years of medical device experience in electronics design. Experience in surgical robots is preferred.
Thorough understanding of BLDC motor control.
Demonstrate effective communication, time management, and leadership skills.
Good knowledge of the requirements of ISO13485.
Professional experience in authoring technical documents and design calculations.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Proficient in using common office software such as Office
Good teamwork and communication skills, patient and meticulous, high sense of responsibility, and good teamwork spirit.
